A Tale of Dimensions

I dream of city landscapes and impossible layouts
Worlds that I am so familiar with from my past that I cant remember
A city walk in this world is strange
My eyes open lead me further astray
Then with my eyes shut
The soundwaves carry me to familiarity
A home a place I can rest
Not yet we have yet more to understand
They're called
The dimension jumpers
As if out of nowhere

It is sometimes knocking at my brain
As if a door sat there
An unknown company waiting for me to answer
I know that there is an expectation to open
Reach out to grab through
Its like a stretching hallway
And the feeling of weightlessness
Can I reach it
The particles brush across the tips of my fingers
Then suddenly

The feeling of weightlessness
Can I reach it

And so they blend into their home
Their doorway
They return to the void
Leaving myself with a little bit of knowledge
An understanding
This world it goes beyond our mortal vision
It goes beyond the human condition
This world it goes beyond a tangible feeling
Within the depths of waves
That is sound
