There's no new ideas on the horizon
Just middle management
And forward motion
No actual plan
No real destination
Just more of the same as the train leaves the station
On an endless search for impossible safety
Powerless to power in it for the money
Sick and tired of the illusion
Stuck in the system

Searching for the perfect contradiction
Hiding our wisdom
Or lacking conviction
We know it's rigged
That's not even the question
But we can't stop the train as it pulls out of the station
On an endless search for a passionate cause
Knowing full well we strayed so far of course
Sick and tired of the corruption
Of the confusion and of the division

Stand still for a minute
Zoom out
We can make it through the night somehow
Make it through the night and we might make it through the day
Repeat the process and then start again
Breath in
Breath out
Maybe things will work themselves out

Or maybe that's the perfect misconception
Tried in the court of public opinion
Getting jiggy with our individualism
But we're all aboard the train as it pulls of of the station
On an endless search for a better tomorrow
Surely that should be enough reason to keep going
Sick off all the pessimism
Ready for action
