Dread Sentinel

Liquid light strikes though me
As I bask in the emptying shadow
At the lip of the lake
That my mind now pours into

Scarring through dead sinew
Igniting membranes and embryotic thoughts
A primordial promise
Of self preservation

Prying open
Lucidity
Non-Euclidean labyrinth
Awakens in me
Eyes growing
From mirrors I dream
Witness to all I have been
Lacerations showing
As the lake bleeds

Birthing, emerging
From shallow waters
Whispering teeth
Faced with despair
Of knowing I am no longer part of the self

Tearing at the seams of my consciousness
Trying to rebuild
Lost within a vast chasm

Of multiple lives
Memory eroding
As I reach out from the bank

Sinking into what I was
Circulating through phantasms
Each hour a second now lost
Clarity a curse, only fleeting

Synthesis of the fraudulent form
Reflections of water consuming
Boundless lake
Eye scarring the Earth
Sentinel; Judex

An echo unforming
A form depleted
