Starry Eyes
I'll guide you from lost promises
Cuz all I ever have was good intentions from the start
Looking back on
I blame on my starry eyes
Look I keep holding onto that flicker in your heart
Hoping for some joy in your starry eyes
Put the blame on me
Cuz I would rather see
The beauty and the beast
Whilst she tears down
And all I wish to see
What we could of been
Hoping for some joy
In my Starry Eyes
Dear little one, want to read a storybook
Here are the pages; so come let's take a look
Once upon a time there was a black samurai
He was a little different but not in her
Her eyes in her eyes, eyes
She could taste new life
When he kissed her goodnight
Everything will be alright
One day she wanted to hold a lil surprise
She flicked the music; he thought it was vein
Before he left, walked out he called her fake
Like a stab with a sword she held deep in the chest
With pockets full of fake friends; meets ends
When she knew she could trust him
He didn't know she was ill and
She didn't want him to worry
Later discovered; she's having his baby
Nu-uh
Cuz all I ever have was good intentions from the start
Looking back on
I blame on my starry eyes
Look I keep holding onto that flicker in your heart
Hoping for some joy in your starry eyes
Put the blame on me
Cuz spirits rather see
The beauty and the beast
Whilst I tear them down
And all I wish to see
What we could of been
Hoping for some joy in our starry eyes
Here's the story there was 2 moons and 1 sun
He chose 1 moon to rotate eventually became one
How did this other one get in their way
Silly woman has nothing to say
How did it happen, and it wasn't okay
The guilt she is left with; it's a shame
One night she saw them in her carriage
Returned the key she left him
Well I guess that's the message
She told her he loves her and that they did it
The one that was pregnant how was she feeling
Nobody knows a soul even he can't deal within, seconds
He blinded her with love couldn't see
He didn't know of her full capability
Where did that reach she saved his name and dignity.
Honestly
All she wanted to give him now
Is the forbidden apology
Sorry my starry eyes
Cuz all I ever have was good intentions from the start
Looking back on
I blame on my starry eyes
Look I keep holding onto that flicker in your heart
Hoping for some joy in your starry eyes
Put the blame on me
Cuz I would rather see
The beauty and the beast
Whilst she tears down
And all I wish to see
