Joel The Janitor

Joel was never the sharpest knife in the drawer
He went through his whole life always wanting more
Each and every day he smokes his life away
Has a C.C white to stop pain

When he pulls into work with his '93 Accord
He sees all the cars he can't afford
When he speaks, no one gives him the time of day
They just walk away without hearing what he has to say

He notices Mrs. Andrews who teaches grade 5
She's seen him lots before just never said hi
They go way back when, class of '96
Now she pretends like he doesn't exist

When he pulls into work with his '93 Accord
He sees all the cars he can't afford
When he speaks, no one gives him the time of day
They just walk away without hearing what he has to say
