Love and Things I've Lost
I know I'm young but I think I've lived a long life
Filled with fire and ice along the way
I'm not saying that I've had it easy
But I love the things I've lost along the way
And I know nobody listens to a youngin'
But I've lived enough to learn a million things
And I know in life you never do stop learning
Lead by love and things I've lost along the way
And it's true that I'm lucky
But I still have my scars
And I'll always be thankful
For the life I have so far
But I can't help but notice
No-one's soul can find their piece
I've lost some big things from my little heart
But my advice is to never fall apart
I love the things I've lost along the way
And cheers to living life another day
I may have not been in' Nam in the 60s
But I travelled through and paid my most respects
I listened to the faithful sounds of recovery
Filled with love and things they've lost along the way
And I may have grown up in a world of cell phones
But I'm not afraid to put it all away
Spend some time with my friends and family
With the ones I've loved and lost along the way
And it's true that I'm lucky
But I still have my scars
And I'll always be thankful
For the life I have so far
But I can't help but notice
No-one's soul can find their peace
I've lost some big things from my little heart
But my advice is to never fall apart
I love the things I've lost along the way
And cheers to living life another day
To the love the things I've lost along the way
Filled with fire and ice along the way
I'm not saying that I've had it easy
But I love the things I've lost along the way
And I know nobody listens to a youngin'
But I've lived enough to learn a million things
And I know in life you never do stop learning
Lead by love and things I've lost along the way
And it's true that I'm lucky
But I still have my scars
And I'll always be thankful
For the life I have so far
But I can't help but notice
No-one's soul can find their piece
I've lost some big things from my little heart
But my advice is to never fall apart
I love the things I've lost along the way
And cheers to living life another day
I may have not been in' Nam in the 60s

Filled with love and things they've lost along the way

No-one's soul can find their peace
I've lost some big things from my little heart
But my advice is to never fall apart
I love the things I've lost along the way
And cheers to living life another day
To the love the things I've lost along the way
