Olivia

When I was in kindergarten
I asked a girl to marry me
Her name was Olivia
And my mom made me a little ring
Said "hey Olivia I love you"
Will you marry me and hold my hand
Said "I know it's not a real ring"
I held out that wire copper band
To my surprise
She blushed and said "I will"
So we marked up a date
We'd invite everybody and have champagne on the baseball field
But then Olivia, you grew colder
And you left for some other kid named Drake
So I sat on the swing that day
And I didn't talk at all
It's not like it hurt that bad
I don't even think about it at all
It was just some thing that happened
And I was back to normal by fall
This was just some thing that happened
Swear I'll be back to normal by fall
