I can't just slave away for basic wages
Wasting days live to for the weekend but it's taking ages
See that mentality was taking ages
Off my life and I ain't even try and change it

Too focused on my placement

I spent too much time waiting
And not enough instigating
This plan that was in the making
Spending days and nights sedated
Running from nightmares, rather than chasing these daydreams
Lack of cheddar, on my mind it was grating
Thinking that a block of it would stop me feeling caged in

Nah my hunger never went away
Always had this food upon my plate
But for this life I kinda lost my taste
Now I'm back up and I'm on my game
No more swerving out of my lane
I almost crashed and I burned away

Only do it for the love now
I wanna see my unborn son shine
Why I do this way past the sun down
What's having funds if you take the fun out
These days if it get me high I ain't got time to run round
Tryna get so high I ain't worried 'bout the comedown yo
