London to Play
When I was
Much younger
I moved up to London to play
And you know that I was
Young & reckless
and got a little lost
On the way
How much has really changed?
Will I know what to do?
Then I got older
And found you
Wrapped up in city life & the view
And you know that I will
Look out for you
and all we've gotten through
Nothing's gonna change
Think less and just do
Well that was 9 years ago
And since then I've learned that I've grown
So London I'd like to thank you
For all that's been given and shown
We are gonna change
It's just what people do...
Much younger
I moved up to London to play
And you know that I was
Young & reckless
and got a little lost
On the way
How much has really changed?
Will I know what to do?
Then I got older
And found you
Wrapped up in city life & the view
And you know that I will
Look out for you
and all we've gotten through
Nothing's gonna change
Think less and just do
Well that was 9 years ago
And since then I've learned that I've grown
So London I'd like to thank you
For all that's been given and shown
We are gonna change
It's just what people do...
