Unwhite Christmas
I have always kinda liked traditions
Even though it's the same every year
It's still full of ambitions
Dad cooks the ham and mum rolls the meat-balls
Robot Santa sings "Jingle Bells" and "Deck The Halls"
But there is one thing that's way too much
Yeah there is one thing I could live without
It's Christmas Eve
I can't believe
That every year it has to be like this
I've never seen it, never felt it for real
A warm summer day in the winter
With no snow stuck in the wheel
I'm dreaming of no more 30 below
No more snow flakes falling in a row
I'm dreaming
I'm dreaming of an unwhite christmas
I have never enjoyed the winter cold
From October to April
Wouldn't you agree if I said the story's getting pretty old?
But at least it's still warm inside
I'm sitting with a present tryna make up a rhyme
For a guest who may not come
'Cause who will plow the roads at Christmas time?
There is one thing that's always way too much
That one thing I wanna live without
It's time to drive away
On Christmas day
But it seems like my car
Is stuck on the parking again
I've never seen it, never felt it for real
A warm summer day in the winter
With no snow stuck in the wheel
I'm dreaming of no more 30 below
No more snow flakes falling in a row
I'm dreaming
I'm dreaming of an unwhite christmas
Darkness, ice and frost
I want it back, the summer that now is lost
Or at least an unwhite christmas
That's what I wish for the most
Is it too much to ask for this year?
I've never seen it, never felt it for real...
I've never seen it, never felt it for real
A warm summer day in the winter
With no snow stuck in the wheel
I'm dreaming of no more 30 below
No more snow flakes falling in a row
I'm dreaming
I've never seen it, never felt it for real
A warm summer day in the winter
With no snow stuck in the wheel
I'm dreaming of no more 30 below
No more snow flakes falling in a row
I'm dreaming
I'm dreaming of an unwhite christmas
I'm dreaming
