Then I saw the oasis
Flashing lights from the stage
I heard pulsating music
And I stood there amazed

Hours crept by unnoticed
As I dreamt in the shade
Staring out at the mountains
Thoughts drifting away

Colors lighting the palm trees
And the crowd on the lawn
Could you see through the stage mist
With your sunglasses on?

Did you notice the desert
Through the pulsating sound?
I could still see the cacti
Looming over the ground
