Carroll of the Bell

Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares away
Christmas is here
Bringing good cheer
To young and old
Meek and the bold
Ding-dong, ding-dong
That is the song
With joyful ring
All caroling
One seems to hear
Words of good cheer
From everywhere
Filling the air
Oh, how they pound
Raising their sound
O'er hill and dale
Telling their tale
Gaily they ring
While people sing
songs of good cheer
Christmas is here

Twenty fifth and he opened his eyes
Little kid and for Christmas he rise
Lot of joy lot of hope no disguise
Seven years and praying to God
Happiness when materialized
into all of the bliss that Christmas implies
Good kid for all of his life
but he felt the hand he was dealt wasn't right
So he prayed through all of the night
That the red suit would take a new flight
To the orphanage where he spent his life
That sang carols that gave him some light
So he wished to the star on the top of the tree
that shined all season so bright
That the gift that he desired to be under the tree
would be wrapped with a bow overnight
He ain't know that this was the year that
Christmas would change his entire life
He didn't know that this was the year
a new set of parents would be his spice
They had found love in the middle of life
They didn't want to wake in the middle of night
They just wanted to love a littler life
they met this kid and he was polite
For her she loved him at first sight
The type of love she couldn't fight
You know the love that embraces you tight
Makes you feel like everything is alright
They got adoption paperwork right
So they could surprise him Christmas Eve night
With his new family and they can unite
And introduce him to his new life

Gaily they ring
While people sing songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Gaily they ring
While people sing songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares away
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas

Gaily they ring
While people sing songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Gaily they ring
While people sing songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares away
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas

Twenty fifth and she's lucky she lived
When she awoke she was Under a bridge
hardly see through her swollen eye lids
A concussion and headache was big
Her fiancé had thought she was dead
When he beat her and crack to her head
Drove one hundred miles from the crib
And threw her body right over a ledge
Although she was left for dead
Midst of nowhere and fracture leg
She got up and dragged herself
Down a dark road looking for help
Found a church while service was held
They were joyous and singing some carols
Walked in and they all stared
saw she was battered that's when she fell
Now the church members saw her wounds
And they carried her to a back room
The gave her ice and bandages to soothe
Called the ambulance please come soon
In the meantime she whispered the story of how
her fiancé thought she was doomed
How she had nothing and no one to help her and how
she was only just running on fumes
And she touched the hearts of the strangers in
church they figured out something to do
So they passed a collection plate and everyone said
they would help her too
They raised ten thousand dollars and then they said
now find yourself a safe place to move
And you are worthy of love and you are enough and
we hope you see Christmas new

Gaily they ring
While people sing songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Gaily they ring
While people sing songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares away
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas

Gaily they ring
While people sing songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Gaily they ring
While people sing songs of good cheer
Christmas is here
Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares away
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas

Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas
Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas

I hope that this year everyone would understand the
spirit of Christmas.
Not just the holiday, the time off or the gifts we give or receive.
I hope we can take this Christmas to see people and show empathy
and concern in a world that's bigger than just ourselves.
I hope this year that you do a love Christmas
Yeah
