The Snow

I lifted up my blanket
I ran outside the house
The ground was covered with a sheet of snow
The snow fell to the ground so slowly
The trees decorated themselves in white
As the snow covered the Earth
With peace

It snowed during class
And I kept looking out of the window
As the snow fell so calmly to the ground
When school ended
I stared at the snow falling to the ground from the windows of the car

Oh
The snow was falling so quietly to the ground
The Earth was wrapped in a blanket of snow
A blanket of snow

I went out with my coat on my back
I fell into the snow
Oh how the snow was so cold
Waving my arms back and forth
I got up
I rolled some snow into a ball
My brother place the snowballs onto each other
As my sister place two dots of coal and a carrot nose

We stood there looking at the white snowman
He stared back at us
Christmas came
Christmas went
The Earth warmed up
Flowers sprouted of the new wet grass
Our snowman left when spring came
Our snowman left with the snow
Saying "It's too warm here, but I'll always be with you"
He said "I'll always be with you"
