Here's the one where I bitch about the past
I'm all greener pastures, my ships come in and last
But I traded my alarm clock for
This reflection that sits just outside my door
And he asks me for change almost every morning

Wondering what's next in store

And presently I guess I'm doing fine
Just don't bother asking me the time

But I fuckin hate running and I needed a break
If I ever really knew just what's at stake
I'd probably just go pile a little more on my plate
And I know I can't tell between night and day
And I'd do it all for you if I could do it my way
So just tell me to leave if you want me to stay
Cuz I just get it all backwards at the end of the day
