Portrait (Endymion's Theme)

What do you see in the portrait?

Let me paint a picture
A young man who lost his girl, so he turned to liquor
He wanted to forget so he added drugs up in the mixture
It wasn't helping he wanted something else to fix him quicker
But he got addicted, love is pain, caused by its sickness
Feeling tired, sleeping for days, pills up in his system, a victim
He wants to live again but he can't
Living life wasted, getting high off a plant
It got worse to the point where he could even stand
He would want to be clean once again if he got the chance
But he's in too deep, no he cannot go back
When he's wide awake he'd fall asleep when his eye fall back
His vision blurry, puking blood, everything turning black
All this tragedy and hell just to try to bring her back
He couldn't take the truth after she told him that it's over
He fell in love with drugs, now he can't ever be sober
Now he's left to rot, wanting finally to die a loner
There's a warmth within the cold, he feels the reaper reaching closer
