Blank Canvas, Pt. 2
Lyrical exercise, I'm ready for the decathlon
My brain drifts all over the place like a vagabond
Every day I wake up, I contemplate the path I'm on
But one thing that I know, I love rapping and crafting songs
Nothing like the feeling you feel every time you hit the stage
Writing out my story, you can't wait to just flip the page
I hit the haze, and then I transport right to a different place
High off life, homie, you know that I've been lit for days
And I ain't ever coming down from here, because I hate to land
No number 3 on my hat, but I'm still tryna take a chance
Going all in, what's the point of having a wasted hand
That little song you dropped was cool dog, but you ain't the man
Sounding like a broken record, let me chill a second
I ain't going pressing play if it's something I ain't impressed with
Staying independent, I ain't signing to a major
I got a sweet tooth for the fruits of my labor
Blank Canvas, I think it then I write it
And anything I touch turn to gold got the Midas
You gotta stand tall, yeah no matter what your height is
And even in the darkness you gon still shine the brightest
Blank Canvas, I think it then I write it
And anything I touch turn to gold got the Midas
You gotta stand tall, yeah no matter what your height is
And even in the darkness you gon still shine the brightest
I just saw my angel number, we gon' be alright
108 taking flight, enter new realms tonight
I might bring my demons to the light
I made a lot of rash decisions all due to spite
This isn't what I had envisioned, when we met that night
Now I'm writing compositions under the moonlight
I'm holding all the cards, now I gotta play em right
I'm showing all my scars through these songs that I write
I think I got main character syndrome
I think I'm right every time that I been wrong
Sometimes I like to throw stones in glass homes
I even got my own song playing as my ringtone
Blank Canvas, I think it then I write it
And anything I touch turn to gold got the Midas
You gotta stand tall, yeah no matter what your height is
And even in the darkness you gon still shine the brightest
Blank Canvas, I think it then I write it
And anything I touch turn to gold got the Midas
You gotta stand tall, yeah no matter what your height is
