Another Lonely Christmas on the Big Island

Went down to Hapuna get my head cleared out
But parking lot was all full up
Mustang convertibles with those rental car stickers
Its a mad house when you're looking for some fun

Drove up Mauna Kea for some fresh air
But the road was slow I could see
Tacomas and Tundras with their beds full of snow
Making snowmen for all their keiki

Oh yeah
I don't want another lonely Christmas
On the Big Island
I don't wanna spend it on my own
I don't want another lonely Christmas
On the Big Island
I don't want to die here all alone

Took a jump off a cliff at South Point
And a manowar stung me on my knee
I asked him if this was jellyfish heaven
He said nah man but come follow me

I struggled and gasped in that cold cold water
Couldn't get my legs all free
Took me underwater Said if you wanna go to heaven
Better stay here and pray to me

I splashed up to the surface and grabbed a deep breath
My arms were tired and sore
But I swam and swam through the rip currents
Until I got back to shore

Yeah I'm lonely and sad but I don't wanna die
Just wanna find someone to share
Christmas is only fun when you've got someone
Someone who really cares

Oh yeah
I don't want another lonely Christmas
On the Big Island
I don't wanna spend it on my own
I don't want another lonely Christmas
On the Big Island
I don't want to die here all alone

I don't want another lonely Christmas
On the Big Island
I don't wanna spend it on my own
I don't want another lonely Christmas
On the Big Island
I don't want to die here all alone
