2pm I'm still dressed for bed

No one here to care if I drink a bit of bourbon
What I do from here? Well I'm rather uncertain
The light's coming in so I'd better close the curtains

All these video games are starting to look the same
I get distracted on my quest to kill what's his name?
We've come so far from sprites to 3D
I just paid $100 to play the sprites in HD
1080 to 4K, it's just more to pay
My eyes can barely tell the difference from a tube TV
They don't make them anymore, they aren't stocked in any store
So I've just got to upgrade with the industry

I can't sleep
Solved so many problems I never knew I had all so pointlessly
I'm alone with my thoughts and I know what they want
But there's no way to have it that won't break my heart
