Acts I to III

When the bells of hell
Toll their sounds of doom
I can not help feeling lost in their gloom

When the choirs of heaven
Cheer their last soul home
Do I stand amid the fall of Rome?

Toxic friends are thorns in our sides
They take our energy in exchange for empty promises
And paper thin facades of closeness
We need to break free
And become the stars of our own movies
For all the world's a stage
And all men and women merely players

Just when I thought all hope was gone
A ray of light shone through
Lifting me up, sparking my mind
Turning my falses to trues

To be or not to be
That is the question
Where 'tis nobler to suffer the slings
And arrows of outrageous fortune
Or say, "You know what
I've had enough of this rubbish
I'm going to try something else
I'm going to take a different approach."

And in the end
It's just the end
No winners or losers or beggars or choosers
It's just the end
No scaling of heights or getting in fights
It's the end
The songs are gone
So it's time to move on
It's the end

Each person has chances and opportunities
To make their life better somehow
The fact that they don't always see them
Or take them
Is part of life's roulette wheel
They shuffle on and off this mortal coil
Each doing what they can to feel alive
They have their exits and their entrances
And one person in their time plays many parts
