Being a human is pretty fucking weird
Some of them be walking with food up in their beard
A few put metal bars through their tongue or their ear
Or let their ambitions get halted by fear
Yea, being a human seems really absurd
They often fail to listen while waiting to get heard
They bastardize thoughts into these things called words
That if misunderstood, on occasion, war has occurred
Many cultures use pieces of paper to indicate wealth
That often determines who's in poor or good health
So they set arbitrary measures that are very out of date
To falsely figure out who's pulling their own weight
Then gather around the dead and chalk it up to fate
Ignoring the oppression towards gender, class, and race

And here some more facts about the human race

Two eyes, a nose, and a mouth make up their face
They have hair like protrusions on their tongue to taste
Their planet is being destroyed by their own waste
You think they would care but its simply not the case
Yea being a person seems both difficult and fun
Spinning on a rock doing laps around the sun
Thru tech and innovation they continue to evolve
But that only creates new a different problems to solve

They are very social creatures that live in complex social structures
But what sets them apart the most
Is their self awareness and cognitive consciousness
Not only are they aware of their own mortality
They question and seem desperate to understand and conquer it
