Orlando
Sixteen, naive
I'm seventeen now, I'm ready to face maturity
That's kinda stupid to say, but there's a lot of things
That keep happening to me, I feel them changing me
I know I might sound crazy
But I swear, now I face things wisely
Even though I still cry to my songs
Looking at my camera roll
I took a pic of a rainbow on the way to Orlando
While getting closer to the end
Thought I was at the cutting-edge
Took one more pic of that rainbow on the way to Orlando
To take it better than the previous
It's hard to equal the first I took, yeah
Drifted off on the way to Orlando
While sitting in a brand new black Station-Wagon
With my headphones on
Which make me feel way less alone
I was early, on the real I was late
So we rushed to the airport
Couldn't even say goodbye
To the place where I'd stayed for
Just a couple weeks
That felt like an eternity
Still living all that trip
And, mentally, I'm not here
I left my mind on a pier
And my heart on a seat
Where we were all so squeezed
It wasn't cozy, but it was enough for memories to get ditched
I took a pic of a rainbow on the way to Orlando
While getting closer to the end
Thought I was at the cutting-edge
Took one more pic of that rainbow on the way to Orlando
To take it better than the previous (oh-oh-oh)
It's hard to equal the first I took (oh-oh-oh)
On a pedal boat
We'd cycled just before the storm
Arrived so we rowed to the mainland
Some were praying to God, but I was just having fun
In a green car, there I go again (again)
To the city where it never rains (it doesn't rain at all)
I enjoyed it even in the rain or
When I slid all day, wish I hadn't been delicate
If it wasn't for you, I'd be ok
But I can tell there's plenty I gained
Amusement parks don't amuse me
It was you that moved me (me)
And you keep on tearing me apart
Don't you know I'm already on my knees?
Don't pretend you don't know I fall apart
We were soaked like that was the theme
I took a pic of a rainbow on the way to Orlando
While getting closer to the end
Thought I was at the cutting-edge
Took one more pic of that rainbow (oh-oh-oh)
On the way to Orlando (oh-oh-oh)
To take it better than the previous (oh-oh-oh)
