All the social network sites
Headhunter invites
Trying to take our time

Flooded by all the spam
Every phishing scam
Trying to steal our dime

Bombarded by the news
Headlines to choose
It all just annoys

Constant corporate wars
From open space floors
Making such an busy noise

Come to a place
Where the sun is always shining
Every cloud with a dark lining
Has blown away

We've got to slow the pace
Because we're constantly blinded
So we must get clear minded
In a quiet space

When we were little kids
We ran free around the neighborhood
Like little fools

As we grew into adults
We were shaped by the results
Of so many rules

We play so many roles
To balance work and home
To keep from getting sick
