I've phased you out
I've stopped getting in your way

For me to forget
So you wouldn't have to feel so burdened by all your regret

I made it easy
I understood
That even though we couldn't take it back, you sure as hell wish we could

Now we don't even know what to say
I stayed quiet, I didn't cause a fuss so you could get your own way

I could've made it
So difficult
But, God, it all just feels so backwards, I'm convinced it's my fault

So could go out there and get yours whilst I stay here on my own

But I know that hindsight is nobody's friend

And I'd blame it on my youth
Or your fragile state of mind
But we both know something like this isn't very hard to find
