I wrote a story 'cause of you
My journal told me what you prompted
Stayed up late the stage was trotted

Druids' grown and blossomed 'cause of you
You led me then to split the verse
We found ourselves Calla and Perse

I love this story shared with you
These memories we've made together
Darker nights feel so much better

This is not the first I wrote for you
I've tried before to say what I feel
But what I wrote didn't seem real

My words are not as pretty
As the ones you've given me
But I hope you find them lovely
'cause coincidentally

There's a bond within the text
And while we're blind to what comes next
If I'm lost and scared, at least it's true

There's such an awful lot you see
The world keeps spinning, without stopping
little time to break from walking

but through the years we've grown so close
