Rise Again

Woke up this morning
With a smile upon my face
Drove down to the station
To confront the human race
As the day progressed
That smile transformed into a frown
But there's one thing I recall
That never lets me down

In the morning when you rise
In the evening fall again
In the daytime when you break apart
In the nighttime you'll mend again

All throughout my life
The good times come and then they go
When they'll come around again
I'll never really know

Even with those bad things
In my life I have endured
There'll be better times ahead
Of that I'm rest assured

Another chance to grow

It's kind of like a miracle
When sunlight comes around
A simple resurrection
But no less profound
