Rejuvenated Genesis

Back then I couldn't never kick it
Too young for big shit
But Now that I'm grown
I forever miss it
Intentions, stoned
From different strains
Man i had mixed it
Spent my early days a mischief
And climbing fences
Remember walking down the street
Now I'm doging tickets
Looking out the glasses
Without the lens
Always stayed strapped
Because of clouded friendships
Used to think I was trapped
Now the odds are slimin
Spinning around looking at the world
Feeling Condescending
My product image
Was at anybody that wanna listen
And getting high before being accounted for school attendance
Who I'm kidding I was moving midgets
Had the heat by hip like a new appendix
It was like everybody can see that light
And my view tinted
Had to get rid of that loser feelin
And look up to start a whole new beginning
My older teen days is I was getting jobs
Couldn't be a office assistant But I could get you robbed
Before my grandma died she instilled me a sense of God
So now I give it a thought before that picture dark
That semi spark
It look like fishes swimming away from sharks
Paid what it cost
Never thought that that would make me boss
Look around ain't nothing but trees in this nature park
She come around get on her knees like she thanking God
Just bought an a r
so don't think tomorra
Keep everything paid off
So I don't think to borrow
My pain and sorrow
is mixed up In this drink to swallow
Dealing with different shit then a kid
Feds casing my junt
Had different women living with kids
That was raised in my home
It was like everybody can see that light
And my view tinted
Had to get rid of that loser feelin
And look up to start a whole new beginning
Gotta grow into everything I know I know
