Out the Window

I looked out the window
And guess what I saw
Saw the shell of a man
Standing six feet tall
Goes where the blows
Or maybe he's lost
And he needs a helping hand
To shake off the rust and clear
The dirt and dust adhered
To where he's going
Of which he doesn't know

Can't help what I saw
Saw a sorrowful man
Reach the edge and fall

He'll be in it for another round
If someone could come and save his life
Before he hits the ground
Will we find him in a better place
As he falls you can see
The hopeless smile on his face

I looked out the Window

Saw a beautiful girl
She's without a flaw
Knows where the wind blows
Where all the lonely call
She seeks out the sullen man
To shake of the slump and clear
His mind of shame and fear
To keep him going
To where he needs to go
I looked out the window
I trust what I saw
To be the end of the pain
That nearly ends it all

Falling faster than ever now
She flew by and picked him up
While he was tumbling down
All he needed was to take her hand
And just maybe he would learn to love again
