Anorexia

I've been chasing perfection
Just been looking for a connection
Sick and tired of being taken advantage of
Always Trying to practice self love
I try to tell my self that I'm worth it
But I can't help but feel like a misfit
My soul is filled with guilt and shame
For dragging everyone Into the flames
I withered away to skin and bones
All I want is to be at home
But I'm in rehab for the 7th time
Don't want to deal with this for a lifetime

Doesn't matter your weight
Doesn't matter your size
Your beautiful just the way you are
Keep fighting, show all your warrior scars
Not a victim a survivor
Not the passenger but the driver
Of my own damn mind, ready for recovery
Anorexia won't get the best of me

I can't help but feel sad and alone
Lost all control life is all unknown
Feel like I'm dying in the middle of the street
And everyone knows and walks around me
Making my self sick is my way of control
Just missing pieces to make me whole
After I'm done the anorexia won
Can anyone hear me please someone

Doesn't matter your weight
Doesn't matter your size
Your beautiful just the way you are
Keep fighting, show all your warrior scars
Not a victim a survivor
Not the passenger but the driver
Of my own damn mind, ready for recovery
Anorexia won't get the best of me

I withered away to skin and bones
All I want is to be at home
But I'm in rehab for the 7th time
Don't want to deal with this for a lifetime

Doesn't matter your weight
Doesn't matter your size
Your beautiful just the way you are
Keep fighting, show all your warrior scars
Not a victim a survivor
Not the passenger but the driver
Of my own damn mind, ready for recovery
Anorexia won't get the best of me
