2 Weeks Notice

I put in my 2 weeks today
Not to say my time here wasn't great
But I'm moving on and now I'm ready to play

Hope you guys don't miss me when I'm gone
Cus I don't care, and it's too late to be withdrawn

And though I've never been the type to party on the weekends
In 2 weeks time maybe I'll go and do it anyway

Boy it feels good not to be a slave
To a corporation who would trade my rights away

Maybe I'll go hang out with my friends
And stay out late 'till the sun starts to rise again

And though my mom will say that I need to make some money
So I get off my ass and prepare for the world that lies ahead of me
It's just too bad that I don't really think that way

Work for 7 hours without a break

To say goodbye to the people who used to greet

I leave in 2 weeks today
I'll miss you when I'm gone
But stay in touch I'll try not to be withdrawn

That we all made in the past
'Till we're able to meet again at last

But it might be a while 'till then, so here's my final message
Take care of yourselves, and I'm sure that you'll go far
It's a scary thing to be all alone by yourself for the first time
