Storyteller

There lives a storyteller, a man wise in the ways of the world through the lessons of Others
No longer young he has much time for books. He studies them from morning till night
And often through the night back into morn again

And all he reads fills him with a feeling of stagnation and lethargy

He broods and broods and broods and broods and finally

He lays down the burden of sanity and conceives of the most arduous project
To become the protagonist and sally forth into the world in search of adventures
To choose this moment to look ahead and stop looking back

This is his moment, his redemptive act
At long last, he is the author of the story
A story that must be told
