I never thought that i'd be here
21 and young & dumb and in my college years
If you told me when i was ten
How much could change in a decade i wouldn't have believed you then

And i never thought that i'd be here
Learning more now than i did in 21 years
So much growth and so much change
Finding those who go and stay

It's crazy
How you went thru life
Thinking every person you knew at 9
Would still be around when you're 25

And it's crazy
The impact we get
From those we didn't know existed
When they finally exist

Here are just some lessons that i would've liked to know
Life is short, take some risks, learn when to let go
And ppl always fade away and ppl always go
It's the ones who always choose to stay we remember most

Growing into the person i'm meant to be
Finding meaning in everything surrounding me

Taking in all of the little things and developing my values and identity
