Borders - live

My birth place is earth, my race is human, my politics are freedom, my religion is love

I was telling a story about dreaming to fly & all the things that I saw from up so high
Couldn't see any borders or artificial lines, just a big blue & green ball for miles & miles
And it was wonderful, it was beautiful, so incredible that I almost died

We're always learning things the hard way, usually when it's too late
Always making the same mistakes, time after time
And we end up with nothing, face down in the dirt
With blood on our hands & blood on our shirt

It shouldn't have to be so hard, we're slowly tearing apart
Becoming numb to children's tears, drowning for a thousand years
For what? Did you give up your humanity
For what? Did you give up your humanity

My birth place is earth, my race is human, my politics are freedom, my religion is love

My birth place is earth
My race is human
My politics are freedom
My religion is love

My birth place is earth
My race is human
My politics are freedom
My religion is love

My birth place is earth, my race is human, my politics are freedom, my religion is love
