My Place

Living at the bottom in the middle of nowhere
Finding ways to cope is becoming a nightmare
I want to find myself on a mountaintop
Instead I'm sucking on thin air
Feeling like I'm running out of time to spare
Out of time to spare

I can stay right where I'm at or make a change
Start running the other way
I've walked through my share of storms unscathed
But I always stay the same
I guess I know my place

Never made it out of my comfort zone
Telling myself this is home sweet home
And I want to be the one to call it quits
If I'm going to end up alone
Maybe that's toxic but at least I know
I know

I can stay right where I'm at or make a change
Start running the other way
I've walked through my share of storms unscathed
But I always stay the same
I guess I know my place

I guess I know my place

I can stay right where I'm at or make a change
Start running the other way
I've walked through my share of storms unscathed
But I always stay the same
I guess I know my place

I guess I know my place
