Home

Cold
Built like a stone
But feel like a bonehead
Cause I'm still on my own
Not feeling at home yet
Not living alone
Which is something I don't get
Because I'm getting old
Heart telling me don't stress
But this here is taking a toll
My mind is a whole mess
And all of my chakras are closed
I'm trying to progress
But something ain't right in my soul
I'm losing my focus
And now I don't know what I know

Am I at my lowest
At the bottom of a hole
Have I become hopeless
Momma say it ain't so
I've had no rest
Where to go - where to go
Don't know where to go next
Still going with the flow
In faith I protest
I will fight 'fore I fold
Yeah - going for gold
Yes - that's the goal - indigo
Yelling out yelling out hotep
Never claiming to be woke
Yet studied the toltec
For the wisdom I promote
Can't control it let it go
And breathe
Breathe

But there's something in the air
And something in the water
I am well aware
I just don't know what to call it
We don't even care
Don't even care at all
And I just can't believe
Everything that's happening
The planet has a disease
Better get your vaccine
Some of us don't even trust the government
Discovering corruption
And that seems to be everlasting
Doesn't it

What is it then -
Is it proof that our world is coming to end
That we suffer immensely
And some struggle to live
Without justice
Yet we're supposed to forget
Most of the troubles we're in
I'm sick of it
I can't think straight
This time and place is as tough as it gets
Ain't no love in the city
Got the bloods and the crips going to war
And here I am - just stuck in the middle
Then another gets hit - And killed

Man I ain't sign up for this shit
It's too much that I deal with
But I gotta be still
And still gotta rebuild
For my family
Although the dysfunction is real
Everyone needs the healing
I just speak how I feel
That's what poetry's for
But when does showing support become an emotional sport
When your closest cohorts are opening doors
Unbeknownst to you
Then turn into people you don't know anymore
Damn

That hurts to the core
But I've learn to be sure to take nothing personal
I said that one hurts to the core
But I've learned to be sure to take nothing personal
You see me in person
Know that I'm being merciful
My conscience is universal
So heed
Full circle O - please
89 in reverse
What number you know - three
First it was four - free
Second - was for mother of earth to evolve
He

Queen
Welcome home (Welcome home welcome home)
