Ten Years Gone

I am close to 28 and
I'm not sure who can relate but I'm lost
Where to go from here
How I got here in the first place
I don't know
Sit around the house alone
Waiting on the telephone to ring
Maybe just one phone call
Could bring all my troubles to an end

Where do I go now
When I'm there
Will I learn somehow

Why does life just pass me by
Even when I actually try my hardest
Seems as though I'm never picked
Even when I'm the one who went the farthest
I know I'm loved and not alone
But some things that I've done will always haunt me
Rise above and move beyond
Forgive forget and move on till I'm free

Where do I go now
When I'm there
Will I learn somehow

Where do I go now
When I'm there
Will I learn somehow

Now I'm close to 38 and
I'm not sure who can relate
But I'm lost
