Overboard

So it ended up OK
Took a little while to realise I was right here in the place where I belong and where Wanna stay
Found a little light to shine on all this darkness that was seething in my soul
Something that I needed to change
Finally got a chance to see the shadowed path and feel my feet so I'll get on

Now I know that up until today
It's taken all my life to realise that the times I went astray had made me strong
I wasn't built this way
When I get a chance I'll find the state of mind to write this lesson in a song
That I'll never have the courage to play
Why I always need to see to take along is something sleeping in my bones

Now that I've decided I won't fear what's overboard anymore
There's light on my horizon getting brighter so I'm rowing for the shore
I won't stop at all

Being alone and better off this way
Funny how I start to realise from the corners of my brain that I miss home
A little more each day
Memories are my design, but looking back I think I know that I was wrong
Still it's a little more than I'm willing to say
Weary of the way I'm seen to shake it out but I can swear that I have grown

Now that I've decided I won't fear what's overboard anymore
There's light on my horizon getting brighter so I'm rowing for the shore
I won't stop at all
Yeah cause can feel the pull

Now that I've decided I won't fear what's overboard anymore
There's light on my horizon getting brighter so I'm rowing for the shore
I won't stop at all
Yeah cause I can feel the pull
And I'm taking off to heed the call
