Overboard

So it ended up OK
Took a little while to realise I was right here in the place where I belong and where Wanna stay
Found a little light to shine on all this darkness that was seething in my soul
Something that I needed to change
Finally got a chance to see the shadowed path and feel my feet so I'll get on

Now I know that up until today
It's taken all my life to realise that the times I went astray had made me strong
I wasn't built this way
When I get a chance I'll find the state of mind to write this lesson in a song
That I'll never have the courage to play
Why I always need to see to take along is something sleeping in my bones

Now that I've decided I won't fear what's overboard anymore

A little more each day
Memories are my design, but looking back I think I know that I was wrong
