You hear him laugh and you see him smile

He lives his life so naturally

He battles his demons too

We live in a world where we're forced to wear
a mask each and every day
A mask that shows every single person around
us that we've got it all together.
You can walk into any venue, into a train station,
a school, a workplace, a church
And you can be surrounded by a sea of faces ...
and know NOTHING ABOUT THEIR STRUGGLE.
And to be completely honest with you, it takes nothing!
Nothing at all to display a small act of kindness.
To gift someone a smile. To tell them that you care.
To let them know you'll be there.
Tell them that all of those experiences,
those AWFUL experiences that they went through...
that doesn't define you! That doesn't determine who you are!
It didn't define you yesterday. It doesn't define you today.
And it will NOT determine who you're gonna be tomorrow
So if you need to cry it out, then cry it out.

But once you've let all of that hurt and
all of that pain and all of that anger out...
You need to let it go! Let it go. Today we start a new chapter!
