Well I've been felled a few times on the way
But then I've always stood back up
For I believe that we're all meant to
Periodically self destruct

So take notice
While I'm wasting away
Destroying my self
Completing grades

And there's nothing
Nothing left to ease the pain
Because I cant concentrate
No matter how much
Fucking Ritalin I take
But there must be
Something unique to help
Distinguish me
From all the rest

Well I know that in the morning
I'm gonna have to go to school
There is not a single thing left
For me to do
Well that's exactly the
Sort of naive bullshit
I would have thought
when I was in high school
But now I know that I was
A fool for there are many
Better things to do
Like sleep 'til two

But I thought that you should notice
That I'm not in any pain
All the things that used to hurt me
Have gone away
But there is more than something unique
Except for this little diddle

So take notice
