ROYALTY

Yea so this is kind of like that connection
Between race and gender and sexuality

Yea yknow it's all intersectionalism
There's still racism and sexism
Within the queer community you know
Like why is hyperpop dominated
By white trans women?
Like as much as I agree that
Trans women you know are women
There is still like instead of the
Traditional male dominance, in this case
There's a trans-female dominance within the queer community
I mean like how come we hear so much
About trans women but almost never trans men
You know
Like, I know I'm on shakey ground here,
Like obviously I don't want to
Discredit anyones traumas at all but it's like
You know hyperpop came from the
Deconstructed club which the Black and Latine
Queer community started but now that
White folks took it over and its "pop" now
Which has happened to almost
Every single American genre ever
You know
You had the race records in the beginning
And then you had swing and jazz and now
The face of jazz is now Frank Sinatra
And then you had RnB which was started
By Black folks but when White folks play it it's called Rock
And now the face of Rock is Elvis Presley
Who got popular covering Black artists
So you just see history repeating again and again.
You know you see racism happening you see
Gender prejudice happening too and you know.
How come we barely see any queer asian people in music?
