Fall of a Fault Line

There's a fault line in my heart
And it is bound into the Earth
It will break
It will rumble
It will crack
It will fall
But is it wasted if it changes?
Or will it grow into an isle?

There's a hero in my mind
And he is selfless and so kind
Yeah he will fight

He will lose
He will die
Will his time be forgotten?
Or will his life shape the mountain?

As he climbs the fault is aching
Shaking fingers grasp his hand
To warm him
Warn him
Mourn him, far away
And he feels her breath
Howling winds carry him
What will be?
Who is he?
Where is she?
Far away

There's a valley in my dreams
Full of those who - who lost the war
Yeah they have battled
They have fallen
They have searched
They have called
Will their cries be an omen?
Or will it free - will it free the river?

And there's a lady in my world
Who will shake - oh she'll shake the land
For she is fierce
But she is broken
She is near
She is far
Will she leave for the meadows?
Or will she face the icy cliff?

In time she strikes the fault line
And she whispers a calming breeze
It hurts me
Warms me
A fantasy far away
And in the valley the fault breaks
And the hero needs the lady
For he's no

He can't go far away
