I smoke too much in the afternoon to help me feel okay
I come up with some dumbass lies then call my friends to say
"Guys come hang I want to play some super smash bros and complain
I need to change my ways before I lose myself and those around me"

The sun rises at 6am, which means it's time to sleep
Anxiety kept me up again, and I'm scared my friends hate me
I'm loud at night and I try to fight every cry for help that dawns on me cause
Lonely nights still hit just right but my brains rejecting my insight so

I forgive myself for the hole I dug myself into this year
Distractions with abstractions that formed ambitious fears
But lingering has no real place towards my righteous path to self improvement
Reflecting led to conscious thoughts so I'll declare that I have fought and lost
