Starve

Some call it an afterlife
Some call it born again
I call it suicide
That's what makes us different
I wanna feel your light
But I'm buried in my sin
I wanna feel your afterlife
But by the end of this race, I'm not gonna win

I wonder if I don't feed myself I might starve
I wonder if the feeling will set me apart
I don't make sense of these thoughts, I just write them down
Because what's worse than no solution but a hopeless sound?

Some call it crying out
Some call it written sins
I call it what I think about
That's why I have the pen
So much but so little control
You tell me to let the pen go
But this poetry breeds me a light
Far better than any afterlife

I wonder if I don't feed myself I might starve
I wonder if the feeling will set me apart
I don't make sense of these thoughts, I just write them down
Because what's worse than no solution but a hopeless sound?

Two nations are in thy head
If she was here, I'd be dead
I'd pull her first by the heel
If she was near, this life she'd steal
God made me crave for the bowl
Give up her life, what a toll
I'm so guilty for the past
I wish I could take it back

I took her title
When I was just a child
I made her give up her right
So that I could be alive
I'm not ready for this light
Take me to your afterlife
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me reverse
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me reverse
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me reverse
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me reverse
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me reverse
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me reverse
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me reverse
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me reverse
I didn't wanna be first
Jacob, please let me be

I wonder if I don't feed myself I might starve
I wonder if the feeling will set me apart
I don't make sense of these thoughts, I just write them down
Because what's worse than no solution but a hopeless sound?
