Pet Store

The light is changing and my time is turning strange
Hasn't been a single customer in days
I close up early and I smoke my cigarettes
And turn the TV on

No one tells you this will happen but it does
One day you'll wake and break your mirror just because
And the darkness holds you
Bed fills with cold water
And your the only stranger
Your bird has flown away

I awake to find the storefront burning
And all the animals in corners crying
I crawl to let them all out of their cages
I could be dreaming but my eyes are hurting

They're crawling over me
I think they're getting free
They're crawling over me
I hope they're getting free
They're crawling over me
I know they'll all get free
They're watching over me
