Liar's Dice

So here's a little story
I'm sure you may have heard
I had some friends
That decided to bury me in the dirt
I sliped off the tight rope
And I'll tell you now it hurts
But I guess I always told myself
It could always be worse
Thought it would nice
And I thought it would fun
But I'm gonna tell you now
Don't play with a loaded gun

You never roll the dice
On a liars turn
Because the sun could go out
And you'd still get burned
There are always
songs left to be sung
always races to be run
But you never roll the dice
On a liars turn

So you see my dilemma
And you hear my words
They set fire to my home
Then went to church
I thought it was shiny
But my skin was badly burnt
Now I'm at the doctor
Think that nothing ever works
It felt so nice to be on the run
But listen to me now
Stop sleeping with a loaded gun

So here's the moral of my story
Here's the lesson to this tale
If they rolled a natural 20
It was really a critical fail
But try not to cry
Don't play dead and lick your wounds
It's time to fight back against the abuse
So forget what they said when your back was turned
And preach out to the world every thing you learned
