Life Goes On

Oh how sweet the strangeness
Of slowly getting old
My youthful dream's been stolen
And my attitude's been sold
Where is the comfort
I thought the years would bring?
Who took away my toys
And my will to sing?
Is it all just a dream?
Will I wake up
Again?
And so my life goes on
And that's alright by me
I've got to find the time
To make new memories
And so the world keeps turning
I don't really mind
I've got some things to search for
I might never find
Oooh
Oh how sweet the laughter
How sweet the pain
I've laughed in sunshine
And I've cried in rain
And I've been everywhere
But nowhere I belong
It doesn't really matter
If I've been right or wrong
Maybe it's all just a dream
Maybe I'll wake up
Again
And so my life goes on
And that's alright by me
I've got to find the time
To make new memories
And so the world keeps turning
I don't really mind
I've got some things to search for
I might never find
Oooh
