Roseart

I hope someday that I can be some help
When the times are tough and life just wants to leave you overwhelmed
And if we can't handle it, we can just hole up inside
Let the rain keep pouring down while we sing each other lullabies
Whatever happened to those kids who just wanted to draw
Rocking Roseart packs when all we want is Crayola
We learned early on we wouldn't get everything we want
But even if we did, it would probably never be enough

I'm way too Raphael to be Michaelangelo
I'm a pent up stress ball on the edge, ready to explode
It's not what I imagined playing on the jungle gym
But four square never showed us that life could be this grim
So while we survive I'll race you to the slide
We can jump and scream and celebrate while we're still alive
I'll tie your laces tight to make sure that you're safe
We'll never be it if we both can make it back to base
