But tough times don't last, even if a loved one passed
Or your girlfriend left you, and it makes you wanna yell out
You wanna bail out of life 'cause the bottom fell out
And you cannot stand the heat no more,
'Cause it began to burn you
Fresh outta options, there is no where else to turn to
The people you ran to, they just don't understand you
Man, you feel like everybody's doin' better than you
Can you give me a chance to make a final effort...

Jesus, you come to Him, and He will not ignore ya

The reason you're still here, for real, He will fill

But abundant life is yours, if only you'll yield
You'll run to food, drugs, sex, every option
You need to stop son, tell me, why do you hop from
Relationship to relationship, and you're still bent
All out of shape, 'cause you got no fulfillment?!
You'll try and do anything that'll bring a high in you
But it's temporary, never really satisfyin' you
God's callin', but He's not who you're replyin' to
But when you're dry and blue,
Who will you be cryin' to?!
He's supplyin' you all you need, so be a go getter
Sometimes saints trip, and we should know better
Instead o' actin' like we never knew Him,
We should pursue Him
Instead of runnin' from Him,
We should be runnin' to Him
Sometimes we want the easy way out,
And don't wanna hear it
Bein' selfish, walkin' in the flesh, not the Spirit
Or walkin' by sight, not faith, when things get hard
Don't try and do it yourself, just let go, and let God
Or would you rather fight than
Submit and spend the night prayin'?
Seekin' pleasures everywhere but at His right hand
That's where they are, and He's there for you
Cast your cares on Him, because He cares for you...
