Young Black Male

I wake up sweat on my eyes from watching the sunrise
They only televise the shooting of black lives
No lullabies jacuzzies and apple pies
There's only lies addictions and gray skies
Alibies oh my soon as the guns spark
Another black body outlined by white chalk
Blood dripping his hearts skipping as he's on the floor
Crime scene is full of witnesses but nobody talks
My whole worlds under pressure
Could we could be building with one another instead of hating each other
How could I be hated by my brother my own kind
Plus I'm getting hated by the others I don't know why
Maybe it's the skin that I wear
Or maybe it's the God melanin that they fear
Or maybe it's the God that's within they despise
I see it in their face I could see it in their eyes
Brothers tell me

How it feels tell me how it feels
When your getting hunted in the field
As a young as a young black male
Is it really real people always hating on your skills
As a young as a young black male
Judge don't really care he ain't tryna give you an appeal
As a young as a young black male
Times are getting weird got me wondering do anybody care
For a young for a young black male

Uh I sit alone in a four corner room staring at candles
Ready to go bananas
Ready to pull the switch on politicians who tried to jam us
Ready to put these fist to all the cops who tried to blam us
Blaow I don't care if you don't like me now
Touch me or mines it won't be a nice scene now
For many years on this earth you despised me now
Guess it must hurt that you could never wipe me out
Cuz I am
God created the God invented
The God gifted with God's precision at high percentage
Look at all the things that I invented
I would hate me to if I wasn't this authentic
But back to my business uh
You can hate it or love it either way it don't make a difference
Cuz I'm a keep on winning Keep on building
And keep on getting and my people I'm a keep uplifting

How it feels tell me how it feels
When your getting hunted in the field
As a young as a young black male
Is it really real people always hating on your skills
As a young as a young black male
Judge don't really care he ain't tryna give you an appeal
As a young as a young black male
Times are getting weird got me wondering do anybody care
For a young for a young black male

How it feels tell me how it feels
When your getting hunted in the field
As a young as a young black male
Is it really real people always hating on your skills
As a young as a young black male
Judge don't really care he ain't tryna give you an appeal
As a young as a young black male
Times are getting weird got me wondering do anybody care
For a young for a young black male

Young black males all over the world
Never let the world bring you down or get you down
Just stay focus
Trust in God and
Keep moving forward man
I believe in you I believe in me
