Big Hands

With no room to break apart, my thoughts just tumble together
I can start to take apart this awful feeling I had
Like a childhood work of art my hands are too big for my body
But I can use them now and that's a start to getting back on the path

I've been feeling like I'm out of breath
But I've got plenty of the that left
And I know you know me best. You've seen how I used to dress
But I've still got a few tricks left

Sometimes I feel like I'm still 17, holding it all so tightly
Sometimes I think you think I'm 17, leaving your car with no gas
But I do better when I'm in between and making my bed in the morning
Can't help but wonder if it's all a dream, the years go by so fast

I've been feeling like I'm out of breath
But I've got plenty of the that left
And I know you know me best. You've seen my car and it's a mess
But I've still got a few tricks left

I've still got a few tricks left
I've still got a few tricks left

With no room to break apart, my thoughts just tumble together
I can start to take apart this awful feeling I had
