Just A Thought

Struggled as a kid, when I was young, we didn't come from a lot
Had to focus on my family, I had to do what was taught
When I didn't ever win, had to bounce back from a loss
When I could never talk about my feelings, I would go and shut the box
Always had to hustle day and night no matter what the cost
I used to take losses, so I had to go adjust a lot
Tried to give people advice, but they didn't care what I thought
Don't know if I can make it, yeah I can, that was just a thought

You better not mess with me because I have these mood swings
Don't know what to expect, I don't know what all these moods bring
It could be whatever, don't try to play me, don't try to move me
I warned you, don't get close to me, I don't care what these dudes think

I made it out the dark, it made it out the deep depths
Before you do anything, better back up like three steps
I don't need to introduce myself, better hope that we met
Flexing on someone who's doing better than you, that's a week flex

I don't be trusting anybody, I am not one to be smiled at
I'm gonna keep chasing my dreams, I could run five hundred mile laps
